It would come as no surprise that many marketing agencies are great at making themselves look great on the platforms they specialise in, after all it is their job.  But when it comes to marketing agencies, look past their flashy graphics and eye-catching photos and ensure they are using tried and tested methods that work. In a saturated market, many companies spend so much on their own advertising and marketing that they forget the stay at the forefront of industry practices and deliver the best results for their customers.

They Are Transparent

It is all too common that marketing agencies lure in clients with state-of-the-art offices, entertaining promo videos and promises of great success. When identifying a marketing agency you want to partner with, make sure they are being honest and upfront about what they are going to deliver. This differs across the streams of marketing. For example if an SEO specialist were to promise top rankings of the world’s most competitive search terms for next to nothing, that should ring alarm bells.

They are a good culture fit

An essential factor for the right partnership is that both parties understand one another. If you are a company driven by core principles, it is essential that the people you work with understand them too. If the agency you are working with don’t understand the work you are doing or how to best benefit your specific company, then it won’t be a good fit.
